Nvidia Drivers causes black and then blue screen

Hey guys,

So the problem I'm facing is that everytime I download new drivers for my graphics cards, in the installatiation proccess I get a black screen(no singal) but after I restart my PC , the new driver is installed, but for the last 2 times, after the black screen I'm also get a blue screen which really is really worrying. Any ideas how to fix?

My system
CPU : i5 4690k
GPU: MSI Gaming X GTX 1060 6gb
RAM: 8Gb HyperX Fury @ 1866mhz
MOBO: z97p-d3
OS: windows 7 pro

Try Guru 3D driver uninstaller prior to new driver installation.

Device manager>display adapter>select your gpu and right click> properties>driver tab> roll back driver.... new Nvidia driver blows imo, had issues with it as well.

Are you sure guys? I think it's my pc not the drivers

Nope and I still don't have, but it happened the last 2 times I had a driver update and I mention again it only happens when the drivers getting installed, before and after everything is fine.

As I mentioned earlier, do try a totally clean installation of the new driver. I also encourage you to read the driver notes prior to install as the new driver may not be relevant to the games you play.
