[SOLVED] nvidia drivers not compatible with this version of windows

Can't install a previous driver of nvidia. They force me up to install 417.22 who's really f***ed up. i tried everything, ddu, updateing windows, reinstall windows... i have a windows build 1803. can some1 help me pls?

Stop drivers from automatically updating! Windows updates sounds like the culprit:

I've had the same problem. My pc keeps blue screening with dxgkrnl fatal error and video memory fatal error codes. I have switchable graphics between Intel HD630 and Nvidia Gefore GTX 1050 2gb version. When it updated the nvidia drivers to 417.22 it no longer detected my Nvidia GPU and also delted update histories so i can't rollback. Trying to install a previous version of the nvidia driver fails because it throws me an incompatible hardware error since its not detecting that I have the GPU.
