I've been looking for a fix for the nvidia drivers has stopped responding and has successfully recovered for a very long time now, and i've been wondering if it could be due to my psu, sinse I have tested literally everything else, benchmarked without issues for hours, tested ram with memtest86 and so on, the error occurs when I boot up my pc and it is at my desktop. Then after like 5-10minutes the error occurs and it will usually turn off the monitor completely and a few seconds afterwards even the sound stops, but pc is still running completely fine. All drivers are up to date, even bought a new gpu the 960 one because I thought it was my gpu. I had an GeForce gtx 660 before. Could it be due to the psu not having enough power?

Specs:
CPU: i7 3770k
GPU: MSI Geforce GTX 960
8GB x2 Kingston RAM 1333hz
Motherboard: Asus P8B75-M
PSU Coolermaster R5-500ACAB-B1 500W
OS: WIndows 10 64 bit

Solution
Try one stick of RAM at a time, make sure nothing is overclocked (you have a K CPU which either means you are overclocking or you spent too much money LOL). Did this start happening after a change, say going to Windows 10 or a driver change? If you tried a new video card, power supply is next to try.
