Nvidia g-force 9800

my g-force 9800 keeps stopping and going to black screen for 2-3 secs then comes back on. any game then locks or stops.
Any help appreciated

have you tried using different cable or different port from your gpu? i had similar problem in the past and upon inspection it seems one of my port was bust. though in my case the game still running without problem while the screen goes black for a few seconds

change ur gpu its getting old or try cleaning ur ports nd gpu it can happen due dust
