Hi, I'm building a new computer with the new Coffee Lake i5 8400 on a Gigabyte Z370 D3 MoBo, 8GB DDR4 ram. I have my old Nvidia GeForce 210 GPU, and I wonder if it's gonna be good enough for low level gaming like Civilization 6 and NBA 2K18. Can this card "carry" me a little longer until GPU prices go down a little? Or is it just too out-dated?

Solution
The integrated GPU on your i5-8400 will be much better than a GT210, only reason to hold onto that card is for diagnostic purposes if something breaks.

that card should be shelved man. only 16 cuda cores and 512mb vram a standard 1050 has over 600 cuda cores and 2gb vram. Might work for solitaire and minesweeper.

Your integerated gpu on the i5 is many times better than the 210. So don't use the 210.

Thanks!
Does this mean that if I use the Geforce210 I "lose" the better integrated graphics? Adding the GPU will not give me "extra" power here?

Correct, it will only decrease your performance.

So will the integrated Intel graphics be enough for me? or should I get a budget low-end GPU?
