Hello,

My Windows 7 PC is 64bit, using an SSD drive for the OS, and 6GB ram, seems quite good, and generally performs very well.

However, every video I watch on youtube is never smooth, i.e there would be some lag between the frames, it's like the video is being redrawn all the time. I don't quite get why it acts like that. Does it have to do with the graphic card ?

I'm using a Geforce 210, and reinstalled the latest drivers from nVidia. I do no gaming so I don't care about gaming performance, but would like to be able to watch videos and not having them lag or stutter... I am using a dual-monitor setup.

Thanks for the help!

In chrome, go to settings, scroll down to advanced tab, scroll down to system box, make sure use hardware acceleration box is unchecked and see if it helps. And if it is unchecked check it and see if it helps.

I would also keep track in your task manager to see if something is running in the backround while you are watching videos/streaming bleeding off some bandwith or processing power.
