I just noticed that in device manager Microsoft Basic Driver Adapter is enabled not my NVIDIA Geforce 6200 TC. Is there anyway to get it back or do I have to wait for an update? Or should I revert back to Windows 7 and go to Windows 10 when its ready.

Solution
Nvidia does not currently have Windows 10 a driver for that card. They also never released 8.1 drivers.

I think the card is just not going to get the updated driver required for Windows 10. The basic driver is very limited as well.

If the rest of the system meets/exceeds the requirments, you may be able to get another video card. Make sure it matches the old ones interface(AGP/PCI-E/ECT), you have the power requirements and has drivers support.

Honestly, You may be better off just sticking with 7 if the system is older.

I have the same card and similar problem, but have not yet done Windows 10 upgrade. There is a Windows 8 driver, which worked absolutely fine for me with Windows 8.1 with no issues at all. This driver can be installed with the NVidia installation file 309.08-desktop-win8-win7-winvista-32bit-international-whql.exe (174,641KB) downloadable from NVidia. I'm not saying it will definitely work, but maybe worth a try? Please post back here if it does work as I am not going to force the Windows 10 update until a workaround has been found for GeForce 6200 TC, thanks.
