Hey guys!

I´m a beginner at building computers, I´m going to build my first one in a month, and I´m looking for the parts, I should probably also mention that I´m a gamer.
So.. my question is:
I´m going to have a motherboard (of course) and a graphics card.
I thought of the Asus 9x79 and the Geforce gtx 760 4 gb. I´m just wondering if these parts will fit? I´ve heard and seen that asus is making they´re own graphics card in the geforce series. Is it only those that will fit in it?
And then a following question:
I´m going to buy these parts:
Gigabyte geforce gtx 760
Intel core i7-4820k
Corsair vengeance pro ddr3 1866mhz 16 gb
Asus p9x79 socket 2011
Are these good choises? it is the budget that I have... so can anyone recommend something else?
Thanks in advance

Well... as I can see that is some parts that have less power than the ones I looked at, I know that it won´t make a big difference apart from the motherboard that is way better, but will the parts I´ve looked at not fit?

The parts you looked at would all fit together however you would have paid alot more for them and gotten the same performance.

hmm.. well first of all thanks for the reply I appreciate it alot, I will consider this and look a little more 😉

Definitely get the 780 if you can if not whenever you get a chance throw in a second 760 and SLI them works great.
Either way make sure you do NOT get a low quality power supply.

Unfortunately for me, my board only supports Crossfire and not SLI :/ First build problems. To OP, even if you can't get the 780, try the 770, it may be worth it. Right now, with my 760 I reckon I could play 90% (I've only checked/tested a small set of games) of games on max, but the 770 and 780 will do a higher percentage of games on max. Example, the 760 from what I've seen in various places could do BF4 on ultra, but it'll be a bit of a stretch for it. There's not much price difference between the 770 and 760 (£50 on Amazon UK) so definitely give it a look. Plus, you get custom LED lighting 😀
