NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770

Hello,

I wanna get NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 OC 4GB instead of a Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 OC 2GB.
I'm using a Corsair CX500M (500W), should this be be enough for this card?

yep, its fine but depending on your cpu and other components, you might or might not be able to overclock

It should be fine but it's cutting it close. I wouldn't recommend overclocking any components if you decide to stick with that PSU.

The minimum require ments for the card is 600w psu with minimum 42a in the 12v rail so no

gtx 770 needs one 8 pin and one 6 pin power connectors .your cx500m has 2x6+2 pin connectors , so you ve got them . But the only concern is the Watts .NVIDIA recommends 600W at least.

if your CPU is an Intel one , you ll get lucky .But at your own risk.

i saw now you have fx 8350 -125 W +230W (GTX 770)=355W . add another 100W , =455W .. at 12V x 38A = 456 W on the edge !

Sorry, NO, your slightly out of spec... (may still work as these types of specs are usually "Peak" for the GPUs and "Continuous" for Corsair PSU. But, that supply is gonna be workin it's ass off. And, you may see occasional crashes when it's Peak demand exceeds

Power supply will not affect the "Speed" of your card in any way........

What you must have is enough power, or, the system and card simply will NOT run reliably..... (crashes, BSOD, ... etc)

Get something like a TX650 and you'll be running. cool, quiet, and solid for years with that card.........
