Question NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M 2GB vs 950M 4GB for 4K?

Wondering which would be better for a 4K display (laptop) - I understand that generally the 960M is better overall (and with regard to gaming in 1080p as well), but would less memory with the 960M really be better and/or more stable than the higher memory amount with the 950M? Thanks in advance.
