Update:

I installed and played Cyberpunk 2077 today and used the default graphic settings of ray tracing ultra at 1080 P, the fps is around 50 - 58 avg, not too bad actually. So it proves the GPU is ok, so I am pretty sure it's the Metro exodus enhanced edition somehow not utilizing the full power of the GPU.

Hi people,

I just started playing Metro Exodus - Enhanced Edition. I have found inconsistence GPU power used by this game. please refer to screen shot1, which has gpu power of only 54 watts and hence very low fps. In screen shot2, gpu power is 119 watts and hence much better fps. These are taken with the same system. Screen shot 3 shows in Witcher 3, the gpu power is also the normal at 125 watts and the fps is good. I have also tested with other games (red dead redemption 2, Metro 2033 etc ) and the gpu power is normally around 120 Watts and the fps are good as well. All the testing are done with power plugged in. It looks to me a software problem but I can't find anything useful on Internet so I am trying here. I really do love this game.

Here is my laptop configurations: The GPU is Nvidia RTX 3060 mobile and has max power of 130 w.
Here is a detailed GPU spec:

You mean 3060 mobile not supporting RT properly? Can you explain more?
did you ever find a solution to this? im in a similar boat, the games unplayable my 1% lows are always below 20fps i tried turning down settings and it doesnt have any change, the game is really stuttery even the audio hitches in and out..

lenovo legion pro 7 with ryzen 9745HX and nvidia 4080mobile, 32gb ddr5 and its installed on my ssd.. my cpu and gpu are both under 30% utilization and ice cold.. i just finished allan wake 2 with full ray tracing that game is beautiful probably the best looking game on the market right now, it had my gpu drawing 100-175watts and running near its thermal throttle but i was able to max every setting including raytracing ones and get an unwavering 60fps even in the hardest sections of the game, i capped it at 60fps just to keep it steady and my gpu temp would drop to 70c in easier areas of the game/indoors then use the full power draw when i was in a forested area

i barely got through the intro mission of metro and never for a second did the game run good, even when launching the game the menu was bugging and nearly crashed, wouldnt respond for 10seconds..
