Nvidia Geforce GTX 980

Hi, i've heard that the Nvidia Geforce GTX 980 will come out in aprox two days. I'm not a graphics card master, but i've heard that a 780 TI will be faster than the 980 because of Maxwell or something like that. I was wondering if I should wait and see if a 980 TI comes out or if you guys are defiantly positive that there won't be one. Thanks

GTX 980 is not coming out in a couple of days, its just being announced. So because of that, everything at this point is a rumor, just wait till people start doing benchmarks.

at the very least i'm sure there will be big maxwell in the pipeline. but there is almost no info about it yet. the expectation was for big maxwell to come out in first half 2015 at the earliest.

In the most subtle of ways it has been confirmed that the cards that will be announced on friday will be for sale on friday.
