Nvidia GFX 960 - Installer Failed

So I'm getting this error message when trying to install the nvidia drivers on a new build machine, with a Gigabyte GeForce 960

So far I've tried GeForce experience which just confused the problem, so I ripped that, and I just tried this:

I should probably note that I don't get to select custom install etc, it bypasses the first 3 steps and goes straight to intall, installer failed when I launch setup.exe

Did you properly uninstall the older GPU drivers first? With DDU?:

Yes, the article I linked to that I followed suggested I did that

I've tried it twice now, just in case, still no result.
Any suggestions?
