I have palit digital alliance dual fan gtx 1060 6gb , In fact I just got replacement by using the warranty. But when I play demanding game like Far Cry 5, GTA V, Skyrim SE modded, it's temperature will raise to 80c in 10-15min .. Is this the card's problem? Or PSU? I have 2 intake fan and 1 exhaust fan on my case, with my old palit gtx 1060 (before warranty replacement) the temperature wasn't this bad.. can someone help clear out this problem? Im planning to replace my PSU which is Coolermaster G550M 80+ Bronze, planning to get 80+ gold one if turns out that this is PSU problem

Solution
how could the PSU cause it? it supplies power, it either supplies enough clean power (and the card works), or it supplies insufficient or dirty power (and the card and other components don't work).
Cause mostly GTX 1060 doesn't reach that temp, especially with its low power consumption.. it shouldnt be hard to cool it.. I dont know what's causing this, how do I give my card thermal paste though?
I'm not sure I agree with that, 80c is a perfectly acceptable temp, so they all tend towards that if you don't fiddle with the fan profile as that will be the balance of noise vs temp. Also they boost based on a temp and or power limit, so if most cards were never hitting 80, you'd see them all boosting to very very high values.

I see.. thank you for making it clear. Btw would you trust that PSU to run rx 580 8gb or gtx 1070 8gb? Coolermaster g550m bronze
