Nvidia Gt 710 game lagging

i bought this graphics card last week it worked really great untill yesterday i was playing xenoverse 2 suddenly game started lagging everything become slow and i turned off my computer and turned it on after 10 minutes and i played that game again it worked fine again after 25 to 35 minutes the game starts to lag again please help me resolve it i even tried to clean all the dust still no change

The GT710 is a display adapter, not a graphics card. Whatever it says on the box is a filthy lie.

You need an actual graphics card to play games

Like LucoTF has mentioned, the GT 710 is weak to the point that people simply only use it as a display adapter for a motherboard with out HDMI or DVI or to simply revive an old motherboard that doesn't have working intergrated graphics.

The GT 710, 720, 730, 740 and the older 600series version of those are entry-level graphics cards, but do poorly for actually gaming, not to mention they cost way too much for the amount of performance they provide. If you are on a really tight budget (less than 100$), it might do you well to try looking for a second-hand graphics card. Even something like a HD 5770 (for around 20-30$) would be much better, and possibly cheaper, than a buying any one of those entry-level cards at retail price.

Monitor your gpu and cpu temperatures during gaming. You can use msi afterburner or hwmonitor.

Thanks for your suggestions my graphics cards is now working fine after i downgraded the driver version.
