Nope, I now it's the real deal. The brother of the guy who lost the iphone, works at the warehouse where the card was shipped from :)

Depending on the kind of person he is he might
a) Feel happy for getting this opportunity and take advantage
b) be like "WTF, I ordered a 470 and this is clearly 10 less, Uncle!"

Nice, nothing like getting the wrong graphics card. Nvidia better give him a FREE GTX 470, and NO legal hassles. It ain't his fault if they send him the wrong card!

[citation][nom]zoemayne[/nom]hopefully this will bring the price of the 5850 down[/citation]Based on the leaked specs of the 465, I don't think AMD will need to reduce the price. I hope they do anyway though, just because I want one. :p

If this was Nvidia's way for the media, then why did they use Galaxy to get the fame? If you guys think it's just a way for Nvidia to get attention then you guys are idiots. It's Galaxy's responsibility, they screwed up by giving a 465 when he should have received a 470. A problem is that some find it may not be a 465 but a damaged 470.
