Have you ever done a Mail in Rebate? They suck. I did one and they didn't accept it because they had to recieve it on time, and the post office took too long to get it to them. My brother did one and didn't get a reply or money for months. Don't rely on Mail in Rebates to change the price, just think of them as a bonus that maybe, just maybe, the price will be lowered.

This is flat out wrong. I had an FX-6300 @ 4.5 Ghz paired with an ASUS GTX 670 Direct CUII (about as powerful as a GTX 960). During Black Friday I found an XFX R9 290 DD for a good price and bought it. I had almost no improvement in FPS in my games on a 1920x1200 monitor. Replaced the CPU and motherboard with an i5-4690k and suddently my FPS shot up by as much as 25%. Basically, an FX-6300 shouldn't be paired with anything stronger than a R9 280X or GTX 960. It would be of little to no benefit to do so.

I'm looking for updates aswell, currently running a Zotac 960 and would love a Ti version.
Kinda surprised you asked this shortly before I looked this up lol
