The Information has reported that Nvidia is in talks to invest in quantum computing startup PsiQuantum, just months after CEO Jensen Huang suggested the technology is decades off from practical usage.

Up until this point, I haven't seen IBM go head to head against nVidia. Or at least, I don't recall any time they have, considering IBM was the first to "AI" by a long shot.

In any case, IBM has been deep in Quantum for a while, with Google, so I'm curious as to what this will do.

As for the specifics of the purchase, well, it was about time someone decided to put a more practical consumer-side use for them!
