NVIDIA Installer cannot conitnue

I recently got a https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Dual-Link-Graphics-02G-P4-3751-KR/dp/B00IDG3PRI?ie=UTF8&ref_=pe_623860_70668520 EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti and after struggling with terrible wiring in my build (those who put this together sure were sloppy) I cannot install the drivers. It gives me NVIDIA Installer cannot continue this graphics driver cannot find compatible graphics hardware. I pushed it into the slot on my motherboard and that was it, there's nothing else I can do as far as I can see.

Also not sure if the fans should be on at first or not until I install the drivers and the card is being used instead of my integrated graphics?

I pushed the card into the slot and it clicked, its holding in there. The fan does not move and I cannot get my PC to detect the card.

That PSU is right at the minimum spec for the GPU and is, like most oem models a hunk of junk.

Might research a quality psu to fit that case. Do you have another pc or a friend with one that can verify the gpu is good?

No I do not, and I have no more money. I blew it all on this card. No job, no opportunities, so no way to get a new PSU that's compatible with my current parts. So I'm guessing the card is DOA?

You could take the card back and swap just to be sure.

That psu isnt normally recommended because its on the low end but for your purposes might work. Normally the cheapest good quality is seasonic S12II but it's probably $15-20 more than that evga.
