nvidia installer failed

Hello.I bought today a gtx 950,used for 1 year.It seems like its wrking,the fans are working,its silent,it has a little light bulb and it's working.I dont have the cs with drivers,but when it try to install manually i cant,it says "nvidia installer failed".Can you help me?

are you sure it's a 950 gpu? there are scammer out there that sells a older gtx card or even amd cards and pretends to be newer nvidia cards.

these usually don't support the latest driver, and hence will cause driver installation to fail.

since, chip model and spec are laser engraved on the gpu die, you could remove the gpu shroud, and do a quick verification.

assuming it's legit card, you could try the original manufacturer website, and download the driver form there, it may not be the latest version, but often offers better compatibility with the non-reference card.

the nvidia installer will fail if you clicked on 10xx cards and not the 9x card drivers.

I dont think is a fake one,in dxdiag shows as a 950.Its a asus mini,on the back

Oh i forgot,when i try to enter in cs itvsays that my gpu is too bad,an engine error,is because i dont have the driver?In devixe manager it shows microsoft basic display my display adapter
