Defently R9 270 since it's one of the best price/performance cards out there right now. it will do 1080p/High in most demanding games like BF4.

The most "future proof" you can get, is the best price/performance card and then buy a new one down the line. The worse price/perfomance, the worse "future proofing".

Buy the R9 270 ... If you can spend a a bit over your budget then buy the MSI R9 270 Gaming OC Edition .
It runs Battlefield 4 at avg 69 fps !! at high settings. Impressive performance for a mid range GPU.

An R9 270 or gtx 660 wont necessarily be future proof. Once the 800 series GTX GPU's are released by NVIDIA, the 700 series GPU will be cheaper. Wait a month or two for them to release and you would get better bang for your buck. Recommend GTX 760 or the R9 280 to be "future proof"
