Question Nvidia Panel sometimes reset's to his default settings.

What can cause that Nvidia Panel sometimes reset's to his default settings ? ( I know when updating driver's with selected " clean instalation " will make Nvidia Panel go to default settings , but sometimes it seems that Nvidia Panel and Nvidia App reset's their setting without reason ).

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

List all attached peripherals.

Look in Reliability History/Monitor, Event Viewer, and Update History.

Are there any error codes, warnings, or even informational events being captured just before or at the times the settings returned to default?

I would suspect Windows update is possibly doing something when installing updates. At least that is what it appears to be on my work PC's. I have to run a certain profile for my inspection software to properly, and it seems after a Windows update, control panel settings are set to default, sometimes.

I've seen this recently too; the Global Profile seems to forget settings periodically. I think in-place driver updates are the cause, but I haven't done one in a bit (since recent drivers have been a bit problematic)
