I have 3 1920x1080 Monitors right now (2 27 inch and 1 24 inch). the 24 inch is getting replace with a new monitor. i would like to get a one of the 2560x1080 ultra wide monitors, but not sure if the nvidia surround will let me use all the pixels for the ultrawide. i am sure the ultra wide can be cropped to do 1920x1080 then run all three 5760x1080, but it would be nice to have all 6400x1080 going.

Maximum resolution for 2D Surround (spanning monitors, not 3D) varies by GPU. For example, a 980ti supports 11520x2160 but a 680 supports 7600x1600. You can check out requirements here: http://www.geforce.com/hardware/technology/surround/system-requirements
Not sure if all three monitors need to be the same resolution or aspect ratio.

A bigger issue may be whether any games support surround using mixed aspect ratios and resolutions. May want to investigate that first if playing games that way is your goal.
