It would be cool to have a smartphone with a GTX 560m GPU. (The PCB for one is similar to the size of a smartphone PCB, all they need to do is make the phone thicker, add a higher capacity battery and the mobile GPU, then a heatsink with active cooling, and you have a decent smartphone that can easily handle angry birds at 60FPS

I can see it now

Iphone 5

Now with a GTX 560m to improve your gaming performance and accelerate web browsing.

We also included a higher capacity 12000mAh battery for extended gaming

and with out new 16 megapixel 28.7mm x 19.1mm CCD sensor, and higher quality lens, you will finally be able to ditch that $50 point and shoot camera

iPhone: Don't sweat the details, you will find someway to fit it into your pocket.

What I want is a tablet that can act as a extended desk top/2nd monitor, and I would love it,
most of all, if it could assist my laptop with 3d rendering , as rendering pegs out the speedometer on
my sandybridge laptop's 2 cores/ 4 processor threads.

For the extended desktop there should be an app for that. I remember with the windows mobile devices there was a program where when you docked the pocket PC, it would launch and connect to the PC and act s an extended desktop.

I stopped using it when I got an additional monitor but before then it worked great as an additional monitor that ran at 640x480. I used it mainly to have a skype window, since the touch screen and keyboard worked with the PC, it made it easy to mute and unmute skype and monitor the chat. Also worked good for rivatuner's hardware monitor.

[citation][nom]killabanks[/nom]What i dont understand is how nvidia cant make a decent tegra gpu?!?!?! powervr ftw !! quint core is nice but at 45nm ... "too soon junior" lol[/citation]
PowerVR's SGX543 does offer more performance, but they're also larger and consume more power, so it's a bit of a tradeoff, and in my opinion it's a tradeoff that isn't entirely in PowerVR's favor. In ultra portables battery life is the ultimate priority, and Nvidia managed to deliver a quad-core SOC with a die size smaller then the dual-core Apple A5, while offering superior CPU performance under heavy load, and consuming less power then the Tegra 2 at idle, which already offered good battery life.
