Not in a major way but each little bit creates votices and turbulance and contributes to dead spaces.

I'm not saying it's a great effect it's just more than zero. Just like the external dongle is more of a hassle than a true drawback, it's the master card that's the major drawback (just ask X1800XT owners looking for theirs now that the X1900s dominate) yet everyone focuses on the dongle.

I'm just saying a solution without either is great.

Not an X>Y issue just hopefully with the upcoming solutions X+ & Y+ and hopefully any performance/latency issues will be minor.

I realy don't get your point, right now I am a ATI fan because of the X1900 being comparable to the 7900GTX. I also like nVidia (thats what I got in my rig, Geforce 6600 GT). This debate is very old, but considering ATI DOMINATES the mid-range market I go with them (X850 XT IS better then a 7600 GT.) When you say NE do you mean Nebraska, because if so what store?

SA7, I hate to break it to you, but it is Nvidia that seems to dominate the midranged market. Of course, ATI is fighting hard, as the initial reviews of the X1800GTO seem to be very promising.

However the 6600 series simply spanked the X600 and X700.
Then the 6800GTO, LE and GS put a pretty nasty taste in the mouths
of the X1300 and 1600.

I find it funny, that these poor midranged cards were coming from
the company that dominated midranged during the Radeon 9500-9800 series.

i had used nvidia geforce 8500 gt and i love it...
i had only p4 3.2 ghz n i can get more superior graphic compare to 9600 pro ....
