Hello,

I just upgraded to Win10 but it my Nvidia drivers aren't working. So I tried updating them to the new Windows 10 driver (353.62) but it keeps failing (see: http://imgur.com/5rkuV7I ). Then, I went to the Nvidia website and tried to download it from there but then this happens: https://imgur.com/eYYnYGc and when I try to automatically find the drivers it says that Java isn't installed (https://imgur.com/vDpc1pR) so I redownloaded Java for 1000 times but that also isn't helping.
How can I fix this and download the Nvidia driver?

Thanks!

Solution

The problem is when you install windows 10 you don't wipe your hard disk and you can't install windows10 driver because you already have the one for windows 7 or 8.1 so I suggest you to search in windows.old or in nividia folder and unninstal the old one and install net framework 4.5 as well

This worked for me. The driver uninstaller software made the difference! Thank you.

hi chaps, I wonder if anyone can help. I've had the same problem trying to install a gtx 660ti in my PC. It's a new build, with a fresh install of win 10 (not an upgrade)
When installed the card shows 2 X green led's on the two 6pin connectors, and display shows up fine on the monitor (although under graphics driver the one showing is the integrated Intel 4600) In the bios the card is lit up on the MB so it's recognising the card in the top PCIE port. When I go to install the latest win 10 64b driver from the Nvidia website, as it's installing the screen turns black and then I get 3-4 beeps from the mb. I tested the card in another PC & it works fine. Any help would be much appreciated;0)

Try the below steps to uninstall Nvidia Drivers

Go to Task manager (Ctrl+shift+Esc)
In Processes tab, select every task related to nvidia and Click on End task

After that go to C Drive and delete the following files

C:\windows\system32\DRiverStore\FileRepository\nvdsp.inf file
C:\windows\system32\DRiverStore\FileRepository\nv_lh file
C:\windows\system32\DRiverStore\FileRepository\nvoclock file
C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\
C:\Program Files(x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\

Now restart your PC.

After that, perform a clean install. If you don't know how to do it then you can refer this guide https://thewindowscentral.com/nvidia-installer-failed-issue/ to reinstall the Nvidia drivers by clean installation.
