NVMe M.2 On M.2 Key M (Sata mode only) Motheboard

So , I have an MSI B150 Gaming M3 motherboard.

MSI says that my mobo supports m.2 key M type in sata mode (6gb/s) , can i install an NVMe PCI Express 3.0 x4 M.2 drive in that slot even though it will be limited at 6gb/s ?

The main reason for asking this ,is that i am planning on the near future upgrading to a ryzen mobo that supports NVMe but for now i want to stick with my B150 mobo ..

Can i install Corsair's MP500 M.2 Drive on my MSI B150 gaming m3 motherboard ?

No, A PCIe M.2 drive does not work on a M.2 SATA only slot.
