I have a Dell G3 15 laptop using a 250GB M2 NVMe for the boot drive. Dell says NVME drives up to 550GB are supported, but why stop there? Why would I not be able to/want to install a 1TB NVMe M2 drive? They are physically the same dimensions, same interface, etc. Would the larger drive just be too hot for my laptop? The smaller drive does throttle back fairly often, but then it is often running out of space due to the demands of Photoshop.
