[SOLVED] NVME SSD on MSI Motherboard not recognized after warm boot (goes into EFI Shell) - but a cold boot works fine.

So my Toshiba OCZ RD400 NVME SSD drive that is mounted to a MSI 970A Gaming Pro Carbon mobo will not boot and is not recognized after a warm boot (OS restart or hardware reset button). However, if I shutdown the PC (without pulling power cord) and power it back up - the drive is recognized and boots fine. Thoughts? I have tried everything mentioned by everyone on other posts about SATA ports etc - to no avail. Not a new build - been running for over a year with this config - it did get hot one weekend when the building got warm.

Solution
RESOLVED - I reset CMOS - seems that may have fixed it - went ahead and did a BIOS upgrade as well. Just odd it was fine for over a year - then all the sudden it starts having issues. Corrupted CMOS perhaps.
