im having a little trouble, my leds aint working on the case with the psu installed and i dont get why, can someone help me with a picture or something the exact way the PLED + and - sw pwr cables go exactly, doesnt matter about the usb and audio i got that, but them little ones please help ?

Are you wearing socks in a dry environment on carpet without any sort of grounding? What general area do you live, humid or not?

i havent any socks on at the moment no haha, and well i live in england so not humid at all haha. surly i cant of fried my motherboard if im still getting light/power to it ?

no worries, thankyou anyway, atleast im better off now than what i was. youve still helped alot. maybe i just need the cpu in, dont know why but, im hoping thats the problem anyway lol

the likelyhood of static elec damage is extremely low. you can watch video review sites handle all sorts of electronics in ways that potentially bad, but very highly unlikely.

its hard for me to read every response above and tl;dr....

is your motherboard posting? have you gotten this far? even without a cpu you should be able to get into the bios and it should post.

what is the exact model of your motherboard?

the model of my mobo is the Asus Z170-Deluxe and no ive not tried posting, basically i am getting power to the motherboard, the lights on the mobo show that but with the 24 pin tester tool that came with my psu, that lights up all my fans

Man i am lost. It seems like it's more than simply lights. originally the op just wanted to LEDs to light up and now the motherboard won't start?

You might want to return the motherboard for a replacement, it could be faulty.
