Question NZXT h700i / H700

So i have the s340 elite which is known for its lack of airflow - i have a pretty high end system with a gtx 1080 gaming x msi and an i7 8700k cooled by a kraken x62 mounted at the front. My temps are fine i havent overcloked my cpu but gpu is factory overclocked. My gpu never goes over 70c and CPU never over 50 when gaming. I want to upgrade to a nicer looking case and better airflow ready for when i get an rtx next year. Is the H700I / h700 better airflow than the s340 - My budget is max of 150 - 200 GBP id say. The S340 is the predecessor to the Hxxx series of cases. If anything the S340 lent it's design ques to the successor. If you want a case with better airflow, look at the Fractal Design lineup of cases. I'd look at the Meshify, R6 or S2 lineup.

So the h700 isnt better than the s340 elite? i really love the h700 or atleast NZXT cases as it matches most of my parts

The H700 has good review from Tom's Hardware and Gamer's Nexus for both build quality and air flow. Tom's Review Gamer's Nexus Review

The one thing Gamer's Nexus hated was the smart device.

NZXT has also has a newer version that isn't released yet, H710/710i. H710 product info No word on release date.

Thanks alot so im safe with the h700 but do you think the h170 will be releasing in the next few months? Also whats different with it compared to the h700. Also the h700 does not come with a smart device thats why i would get it over the h700i which does come with one as i dont like the smart device either and prefer my own bios fan settings.

I would think the H710 would be released in the next couple of months, but I have no way of knowing. On NZXT's website it just says "coming soon" for the release. One new feature they added was a USB Type C port on the front, the H700 only has Type A. They also changed how the tempered glass side panel is mounted on the H710. It is now the same mounting as the H500 instead of using 4 thumbscrews.

alright ill wait for the h710 then thanks i heard its releasing in july time on a yt video. Just to check the airflow will be ok in the case ? No worse than the s340 elite. I just need to 100 percent know before buying.

I would think the airflow is just as good or better than the s340 elite based on how much praise Tom's Hardware review gave the H700 for keeping the interior of the case cool. I am sure there will be plenty of reviews on YT when the case is released.
