NZXT Hue Plus

Hi,

I just built my first pc and it is working just fine. however, i bought the next hue plus and 4 aer 120 rgb fans which work but fr some reason the pruple does not seem to work. it is a really really light purple color. It almost looks white with a slight purple tint to it. Every other color works great so I am not sure what the problem is?

Also, HUE+ has 2x channels, try switching the channel.

Yes it is all 4 fans as well as the strips. I tried switching channels, i uninstalled CAM and reinstalled also. Lighter blues also do not seem to work properly. Red, green, blue, orange pink...all work fine and are very bright.

One last thing to try is to plug the microUSB -> USB 2.0 internal cable to another internal MoBo header (most MoBos have 2 USB 2.0 internal headers). But if that too fails then it's the controller (HUE+) issue. In this case, your best bet is to submit a ticket to NZXT and ask for a replacement for HUE+,

I too have HUE+ with AER140 RGB fans and LED strips in my Skylake and Haswell builds (full specs with pics in my sig) and for me, both setups have all the colors vibrant.

Note: it may take few days before NZXT customer support representative replies since NZXT is global company. But other than that, they are nice and polite. I contacted NZXT to get my LED connector cable since it isn't included with NZXT AER RGB & HUE+ bundle.
