Anyone know how to install a GAII Trinity Performance on a AM5 socket? There are two Pump brackets. One has two installation points. One has four. I have the four one. After I install the 4 standoff studs and center the pump on the brackets, I can't seem to screw into the studs. The bracket connections turn but don't make contact, and so there is nothing to screw onto. It's driving me crazy. (And I can't seem to contact LIan Li using their online form).

am5 is AMD, switch the bracket to the two point bracket to fixate it

I have an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X. The brackets I have, and the description of how they fit, are in the installation guide. This guide is different from the online installation guide.

The issues are that I have been unable to contact Lian Li to get a replacement (AM5) bracket, and the bracket/standoff studs that I have don't seem to work together. The studs and the bracket fit but there seems to be no contact with the screw, so I can't tighten the bracket. Another issue is that the pump on top of the standoff studs does not make contact with the chip.

The online (youtube) guidance is not for this bracket.. What I think is going on is that I bought this from Amazon, and the GA II the seller sent is an old (early) GA II which has now been changed. But, I can't contact Lian Li so I just don't know.

MB: ASUS_ProArt_x87E. There are two fan brackets on the north and south of the AMD chip. These were removed and the GA II standoff studs screwed in (partly). Screwing in the studs all the way would have punctured the MB and would have ruined the bracket screw holes.

Then, with studs inserted, the pump with the AM4/5 bracket was placed on top of the studs. It was not possible to screw the bracket into the studs and, if successful, the pump would not touch the chip.

I then removed a stud and inserted it into one of the bracket screws. No luck tightening the bracket screw.

Separate to this I looked at several youtube videos on installation. All of them used a different bracket and the online installation guide at https://lian-li.com showed the same bracket (this one attaches to the fan brackets, unlike the one I have).

And so after several failures, I attempted to contact lian-li using their (https://lian-li.com/contact-us) form. After 4 or 5 failures, I looked at the HTML for the "Submit" button on the form, and saw that it did nothing. I suspect it has been disabled.

I bought this thing from Amazon. My guess is that the vendor selling through Amazon is trying to dump all the old gear, which works for Intel chips but not for AMD chips. At this point I'm about ready to get either another GA II or another AIO setup from Microcenter.
