So I got my PC all set up, and going from a cm haf 932 to a NZXT Phantom 410, and the way you connect the case fans seem to be different.. On the HAF 932 you would connect it straight from the fans to the mobo, but on this one there's a fan controller. How would I go about connecting that? The only PSU cables I have btw are the two PCI-E ones for my GPU and a SATA cable.

You can either disconnect all the fans from the controller and plug them into your motherboard or plug a Molex power connector into the fan controller (assuming your PSU has Molex connectors).
Would it be less hassle just to unplug the fans from the fan controller and connect them to my motherboard? I don't really care about the fan controller at all, just want my case fans to work.. I don't even know where to unplug them from.

I already need a new motherboard and GPU, no way I'm buying a power supply for no reason when mine is perfectly fine but just missing a molex cable. xD

Very much so, I agree with that choice. I'm not big on fan controllers, I'd probably rather use the mobo any how. Follow the fans wire, you will find where to unplug them from xP
