Hi,

I bought the NZXT Phantom 410 awhile back and fitted it with several fans. It comes shipped with an NZXT Branded 140mm white LED fan at the top and I wanted to purchase a second identical one in the second slot. The problem is, I cannot for the life of me find out what it is! Can anyone help please?

The only LED fan I found on NZXT's website is the FZ 140mm LED fan, which I purchased as a substitute but I'm tired of it looking uneven (one fan is solid white, the other has clear see-through fan blades).

So, determined to find the exact model I looked at the rear of the installed fan and this is what I found: http://s29.postimg.org/n4zh0hp3b/DSC_0305_1.jpg
As you can see, it doesn't specify a model number but it does have other useful information. The first, the white ring around the outside. I'm guessing this is used for either the family of fans or the LED colour of the fan. You also have the ampage and wattage values too.

I then matched those values and characteristics up with the fans on NZXT's website and found the FN 140mm RB to match both aesthetically and the values given (0.24A, 2.88W) http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/87-fn-140rb-case-fan.html
I went ahead and purchased it on Amazon making sure it had the same values: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0039825LW/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

But when I finally got it, I noticed it ISN'T LED and the values on the box are different to those found on the original fan:

I'm now quite puzzled as it's still the same fan FN 140 RB but with a lower wattage (2.16W, 0.18A) to accommodate for the lack of LED's AND it has a blue ring too, rather than a white one which is infact pictured on Amazon and NZXT's site too.

Has anyone found any luck with this? Any help would be appreciated.

i have the phantom 410 gunmetal and i got rid of all the stock fans and changed them to nzxt red led either 120mm or 140 whichever area i place them. i have 2 120mm fans in front intake 2 140mm fans on top outtake 120mm fan in back outtake and a 140mm fan on the front panel intake (helps with GPU cooling)

^this is a link to my overclock.net profile which has my build log and a bunch of picks. i went with all red led fans plus a red led 2m strip from nzxt. i have a red microsoft x4 keyboard. gunmetal and red leds looks sexy IMO.
