Hey guys, i need your expertise to get the lowest temperature possible for the cpu and and gpu, i have the i7 4790K with Be quiet shadow rock 2 and i might do a little OC

i' m running 1 200mm fan in front as intake, 2 200mm on top 1 intake 1 exhaust, 2 120mm on bottom as intake, 1 rear 140mm exhaust and last 1 side 140mm as intake.

What do you suggest me to change?

Shadow rock 2 fan its looking at the top and above it the case fan exhaust air is this wrong?

Solution

If you CPU cooler is blowing toward the rear fan, make the rear and top exhaust fans, and make all the other fans intakes. Heat rises.

Just use the top fan as an exhaust use the rest to pull air into the system. Look at the CFM and get fans that are reasonable.

A quick look at the list I think this is a good option. 140mm

Edit: use rear as exhaust as well if your CPU Cooler is blowing in that direction. I think you have a good setup. A good and also cheap TIM is Noctua NT-H1 Thermal Compound. It's only 1 degree off much more expensive compounds for close to half the price. If you are considering overclocking.

I have already fans installed. So you suggest me to change the 2 top fans to exhaust? With the rear i will have 3 exhaust fans.

What about the CPU Cooler fans is it better to take air from front, top, rear, bottom?
