I have an Ak-74sc mainboard with a duron 650 chip. I recently invested in a new h/s and fan combo to keep my cpu cool when overclocked. Problem being, that that although this m/b has been very stable and has saved my ass a few times, I can not find the multiplier option. It isn't in the bios (origional or latest update from DFI) and there is no jumper setting. The only option i have is the bus speed which is nice, but not really what i eant as as soon as i break about 740mhz it becomes unstable and after hearing the wonderous speeds these cpu's can do, i'm getting a bit envious! Is there nothing i can do?

Does anyone kn ow how to fix this or could it be that the l1 bridges are not crossed properly? I followee the directions of a friend who has successfuly overclocked his t-bird so it seemed ok, but i'm not really an expert at o/c-ing or AMD equipment as i have always had intels untill now.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

That sounds like an off brand motherboard, and only a few boards have the ability to adjust multiplier. Even if you close the L1 bridges properly, you need a board with the ability to change multiplier.
