OBS Causes game to feel like 30FPS

So I just got back into recording some Overwatch, and I opened up OBS earlier and even before I began to record, I tabbed over to my Overwatch and it felt as it were running 30FPS (The FPS counter in Overwatch read 200+)

Note: This has only been happening recently, I used to be able to record without any interruptions.

GTX 970
16GB RAM

What are your OBS recording preferences set to?
Open task manager in another window and see where your resources are going. OBS uses alot of cpu.
