OC APU flickers my screen and logs me out?

Ok so I keep trying to overclock my A10 6800k to 4.4GHz, to where I had it before. Though now, everytime I try to overclock or even underclock it, my monitor goes crazy and after a few flashes, I see the lock screen.

Windows 10
750W PSU Thermaltake Bronze
A10 6800k APU
GTX 970
MS-7778 JasmineR Mobo
2TB HDD

I don't know too much about overclocking but maybe i can help to you...
Probably you are having stability issues.
Raising the voltage a bit or reducing the frequency a bit will result more stable PC.
But if you want to stay at safe zone, just lower the frequency instead of raising the voltage.

It didn't matter if I lowered it or anything, it would still flicker. After re-installing Overdrive however, it's all good now. Thank you, though.
