OC Pentium IV 1.4 GHz

Hello all,

Does anyone know how to overclock a Pentium IV, 1.4 GHz computer from Dell? Or if not, any idea on a web page that may be able to help? I remember seeing that Tom had a P4 up to 1.7 I think, but not sure how he did it.

I think I read in one of Tom's articles that he was going to talk about how he did it in his next article about the P4. As for other websites about it, I don't know.

im pretty sure tom's P4 was unlocked sample- you're retail one wont be, so icreasing the fsb is the only solution, but unlike DDR memory i read somewhere that rambus sticks are ok to overcock, so goodluck!

if I remember correctly tom overclocked via the FSB.
meaning you would have to either overclock through Jumpers or through your BIOS.
