OC Q6600 with no watercooling what is the BOUNDARYS? can you help me

I want to oc my Q6600 and I don't have watercooling, I reached 3.00 GHZ and I didn't raise the volatge,I set the whole thing to manual so nothing is Raised, And I manaegd to keep the temp under 60.
can I push it a little bit higher,can the cpu handle 70?
I don't want to harm the cpu, and what about the voltage
what does it do? shall I keep it 1.262 or is it better to raise it???
I want to get the maximum of my Q6600 without damaging it. Can you help me

MB: P35 DS3R FBS:1333 (OC:1600) DDRII 1066 (OC:1200)
VGA: ATI Radeon HD 4870 512 MB
CPU: Core 2 Quad Q6600
HDD: WD 500 GB 32MB 7200 RPM
PSU: 500W Amacrox
RAM: A Data 1GB 1066+ X2

There's no boundaries if you're bold. However, this site isn't overclocker-oriented, so don't be surprised if someone says "be afraid of high voltages. blah blah blah." I've seen 1 or 2 overclocks about 4Ghz on that cpu on air cooling at evga.com & an overclocking forum.

The weakest link in your specs would be the psu. It might give out if it's crap.

There are 2 steppings. 62.2C VS 71C. Keep it 5C less than max under load. Use cpuz to find out about yours. Or look at the cpu box for the sSpec Number in the URL.

It depends wat stepping u have. the go stepping is slightly better at oc.
My q6600 is running at 3.2ghz currently. u should keep ur voltage around 1.3v for a mild oc. Mines running at 1.32v. perfectly stable and it shouldnt damage the chip at all at that speed. ur chip runs slightly hotter then mine my temps r 35-38c idle and 50-55c load.

I'll set my voltage to 1.3 and the cpu to 3.2 and hope that the temps will be less than 60c under load.
