OC speed/temperature concerns

This was my first ever build and first ever attempt at overclocking so bear with me. I have been looking around for potential causes of my problem but without much luck.

I have the new 5820k processor and have pushed the clock speed from 3.3 mhz to 3.8 mhz. My core voltage is 1.102. I ran prime95 and monitored temperatures and within 10 minutes I was already in the lower 90s and my Tmax is only recommended to be at 95. Temperatures at basic usage (which includes heavy duty photoshop with files up to a couple gigabytes, but no gaming) rarely exceed the 50s to 60s.

My question is why would my temps be running so hot? I have read of multiple people pushing this CPU into the mid 4s and their voltage up to 1.25 or beyond. I do have a warmer case in the Fractal R4 but have 4 case fans installed AND a CPU cooler (enermax ETS-T40). They are all functioning at max speeds. From my understanding you can consider a system stable if the CPU temps generally stay 10-20 degrees below the max recommended. I don't intent to push the system any further as this is all I really need but I am at a loss if even this is too much and if so how others are able to attain much higher OC speeds while keeping temps down.

Any ideas?

Currently I have 4 case fans on my Fractal R4 and an Enermax ETS-T40 CPU fan installed. No water cooler but I still can't imagine a water cooler being necessary for the somewhat modest OC I am attempting.

Temps at stock (3.3mhz, 0.0997v) reach a max of 67 after 20-30 minutes of running prime. At the OC settings of 3.8mhz, 1.102 V it reaches the lower 90s. I understand that there would be an increase, but would it be that dramatic?

I am very confident that I have installed by CPU cooler properly. While this was my first build I did do plenty of research on the topic. I bought the cooler based on a friends recommendation, but it is possible that it is simply not a very efficient cooler or are my OC settings just too dramatic?
