OC troubles with 4670k on MSI Z87-G41

I am trying to overclock my Intel i5 4670k @ 3.4Ghz up to somewhere around 4.4Ghz using the MSI Z87-G41 Mobo. About two months ago I attempted this but never managed to solve the issue so I let the "OC Genie" do an auto OC to 4Ghz. Coming back to it now that I have my MSI GTX 970, I want to see just how far I can push my system, CPU included. My problem is that the values to change the actual CPU clock are greyed out in the UEFI bios, so I can't change them. I'll attach a picture so you guys can see what is going on. Thanks in advance.

Might try resetting the CMOS to take the BIOS to defaults (make sure update the date and time after done. Best to OC through the BIOS rather than those software packages, sometimes they do weird things, and generally use high voltages

How do I go about resetting the CMOS?

There's a jumper on the mobo (see your manual) or can remove mobo battery with the rig unplugged for a minute or two then reinsert
