Recently I have been having an issue where my computer will hold a frame for no apparent reason; audio is still playing, my programs are still running, and both my side monitors are working as well (I tested this by having gifs open on both of them while playing games).
I first noticed this issue in League of Legends about a month or two back. I have been letting it go on for so long because my best friend use to have a similar issue for years and was incapable of fixing it even after wiping his whole computer, so I just assumed I must have this weird hardware curse that he had, and many others have reported this issue on forums. But a week ago it occurred in Risk of Rain 2 as well, multiple times. I have yet to notice it in any other game but I have not really been using my computer much the last few weeks.
I have really no idea how to approach this issue right now. I tried reinstalled drivers but haven't tested if that fixed it (doubtful), so I thought I would ask and hopefully find other people who may have encountered something similar. Thank you for your help either way!
