Hello!

I bought a PC build a week ago. PC specs are:
Intel Сore i5-12400F
Cooler ID-Cooling, for S1200/1700/115x/AMD
Gigabyte B660 GAMING X DDR4
16 GB(8x2) kit 3200MHz G.Skill Trident Z
ZOTAC GAMING RTX 3060 Ti Twin Edge LHR,
SSD M.2 PCIe 1 TB Kingston SNV2S
ATX Chieftec CORE, BBS-700S
I installed the drivers from the motherboard website. Windows from the official site.
Played all this week in cs go, dota, days gone.
There were no problems

Decided to download gotham knights yesterday.
The game started to crash. Thought it might be a memory failure. I downloaded occt and it gave me three RAM errors.

What could it be?

Pretty obvious, bad memory but not necessarily faulty, I would start with resetting CMOS/BIOS and leave RAM at factory default, If it still fails there are RAM testing programs like https://www.memtest86.com/download.htm
Other failures can be caused by CPU, RAM buss or contacts.

yep. all slots are working
and in all slots the memory produces errors.
that individually, that together they give errors
it's a pity of course that this is rma
But how can I be sure that this is a problem in the ram, and not in the processor memory controller?
I don't have any other RAM to check :(

You can try and reseat the ram or just run the ram with XMP off. But yeah, something is definitely not right with a new build.

Do make sure your RAM is running at it's rated XMP volts, usually 1.35 - 1.45v.

Sometimes even hitting the XMP button the voltage won't automatically set properly.

ok, I'll try. but that without xmp, that with xmp there are errors

I have one question.

Could the errors be related to (gigabyte) BIOS settings?
Maybe there is some setting that can lead to errors?
