Ok. Someone help. I am frustrated and I play violent video games... 😉

I have a Duron 750. And I can NOT get it to OC at all. I used a H4 pencil, and covered those bridges good. When I clock it to 850, it reports back 700. I tell it that it is being counter productive, but it doesn't seem to listen to me.. Or care.. Whichever..

How have you guys done it? I was thinking of getting a conductive pen, but I don't want to use it if it is difficult to remove any mistakes.

Did you clean the bridges first? Take light sandpaper to them to better the connection? IDK.. I am at my wits end with this thing!

I hope you are daring enough

My Duron 650 cannot be clocked at ODD multipliers eg 5 5.5 7 7.5 9 9.5, so after closing the bridges I max out at 8.5 which turns out 850Mhz.

So one fine day I work up enough courage and took a knife and cut other bridges in L2 L3 L4 L5 L6 L7 that was not set to multiplier 9.5 and V 1.85 and then reuse the pensil to close L1 and it worked at 9.5 POST only so I had to drop back to 9 which is now 900 Mhz.

It ran fine up to 927, but I like seeing 900 perfect number during boot. So strange I am.

Perhaps when I work up enough courage I will perform the surgical on the A7V to pump out more than 1.85V as shown by tom.

Anyone tried and finds it easy please let me know.

Best regards
