Odd fan set up

Hello everyone

I had my pc custom built for me by a certified tech at microcenter, after picking it up I went home and opened the case and noticed this odd fan set up. I have heard of the push and pull method when having fans mounted on a radiator but this doesn't seem to fit that. Both fans on each side of the radiator are blowing in opposite directions.


I have looked all over. I am just making sure that he didn't make a mistake.

If that is really how they are installed then that is very wrong! You want them pushing air in the same direction.

Agreed, the fans on either side of the radiator need to blow the same direction. Either both pushing air from inside the case and exhausting it out the back or pulling fresh air in from outside and into the case. Preferably exhausting it out since the rear fan opening isn't usually filtered. If one fan is blowing out and the other in, they made a mistake.

Agree. Also, is that a h60? I doubt two fans will make much of a difference. I messed with my h55 and adding another sp120 in push/pull did nothing for temps but increased noise.

So what if I had them one pushing an anything pulling into the case then blow out the top? I'm thinking that would create a good air flow.

The fans on the rad are in wrong config as other posters have stated. The inside fan ( one inside the case) should be pulling air in to the radiator! Cant see anything wrong with the rest of the fan config!
