Question Odd GPU/Monitor Issue

So, I have a bit of an odd issue going on here. I recently sold an old gtx titan x GPU on eBay, and I wanted to ensure the buyer of its functionality, so I plugged it into my new PC (I removed my RTX 2070 super ofc) and provided images to ease his mind. The GPU worked, and nothing noteworthy occurred while I had it installed for the 5 minutes I did.

However, since I reinstalled my RTX 2070 super, my monitor keeps going into what I guess is a sleep state. Like it will go black, power light still on, and I will have to unplug the display port cable from the GPU to get it back. It does not do this at a regular interval; it's completely random. I have taken steps to troubleshoot myself, of course. I have done a clean install of the RTX 2070 drivers, tried a different display port cable, and reseated the GPU multiple times. I'm using a dell s2721dgf g-sync monitor.

I'm really at a loss as to what to do here. (I also just verified it's not a faulty PCIE slot, all of them are replicating said issue)

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

By clean install, did you use DDU to rid your prior drivers? Reinstalling in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator? Make and model of your PSU and it's age? Make and model of your motherboard? Last thing you could try doing is disconnect from the wall and display, then pop out the CMOS battery for 30 mins before replacing.

Thank you for the response, my friend! I will try the DDU method and CMOS battery and get back to you. My power supply is a corsair rm750x, and it's only a year and a half old. My motherboard is an MSI MEG X570 Unify. Will get back with you soon!

I performed the clean install using the DDU and cleared the CMOS and neither worked, unfortunately.
