Hi guys,
As the title says, my monitor turns off for 1-3 seconds whenever the boiler turns on. It does not always happen, but I hear a feint crackling noise when it does.
I presume that a power surge happens when the boiler suddenly turns on, to meet the electricity requirements for it to heat water.
The cables for my monitor (ASUS VG248) is a DP into the PC (GTX 1080, ASUS Q170M2), a 16a 250v cable for power (Corsair VS550 ATX). I also have a surge protector power strip (in EU).
Question is, is there any way to fix this? It happens during intense moments such as when I am reading a forum post.
Thanks guys
