I recently upgraded to an Asus Rog Strix GTX 1060 6Gb and for some reason, I’m not getting the advertized performance in Rainbow Six Siege when looking at benchmarks online. The card should pull about 120fps avg on ultra at 1080p, but I’m only getting an average of 75fps with the same settings. Sometimes the fps drops down to the low 60s.
The other specs of my machine include an i5-7500 @3,4Ghz and 16Gb DDR4, so it shouldn’t be a cpu bottleneck either. Any ideas what might cause this??? Thanks for help.
EDIT: More specific info, I also have an Asrock b250M Pro4 motherboard, windows 10 pro 64bit and I’m using the latest nvidia drivers. My monitor is oc’d to 75hz but the fps is not locked and goes above 75 in some cases. I tried high settings and got about 80fps, still not even near what I should get.
